ABOUT
About our Church
Our History:
Welcome to the journey of Mt. Zion Baptist Church! In August 2021, Pastor Jared and his family made the heartfelt decision to move from Dallas to Houston to establish a new church plant. With great joy, we celebrated our grand opening on September 26, 1. As we’ve grown, God has blessed us with numerous opportunities to make a positive impact in our community, and we eagerly anticipate our third year of dedicated service to Him!
You can write about the business's history here, from its founding until now. Draw readers in with an engaging narrative. By telling its story, you can help people connect to the business. Share what inspired its creation and what need it was meant to fill. You can include details of the obstacles it overcame to get where it is today.
Our Values:
At Mt. Zion Baptist Church, we are committed to preaching and teaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We desire for every person to know God’s love and understand that salvation is a gift of His grace, received through faith in Jesus Christ.
We believe the Bible is the inspired and preserved Word of God. It is the foundation of our faith and the guide for every sermon and lesson taught at our church. Through God’s Word, we seek to grow in faith, live according to His truth, and share His love with others.
Our Vision
Our vision at Mt. Zion Baptist Church is to see the Gospel of Jesus Christ spread throughout the Houston area and around the world.
Through our outreach programs, we seek to share God’s love, serve our community, and reach people across our city. Through our missions program, we support the work of sharing the Gospel and serving others in countries around the world.
Our desire is to make Christ known both near and far, so that others may experience His love and the hope of salvation.

Plan Of Salvation
The Bible Way To Heaven
Admit You're
A Sinner
For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God - Romans 3:23
Believe Christ
Died for your Sins
But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
- Romans 5:8
Confess Your Sins
And Ask Jesus
Into Your Heart
For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
- Romans 10:10
